Salman Khan Supports Students, Urges Sonam Wangchuk to End Hunger Strike

Bollywood actor Salman Khan voiced support for students protesting over the paper leak issue and urged Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike. In his Instagram message, he said students should go back to their parents’ homes and trust that strict action would be taken against those responsible.

Salman’s message Salman Khan said the students’ education and safety are the top priority, so they should not worry. He wrote that the Prime Minister had already tweeted about the issue and that he was sure strict action would follow against the people responsible for the leak.

He also addressed Sonam Wangchuk directly, telling him, “Sonam, it’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there be a need, which I doubt, and eat something. If you want, I will send you food from home.”

Salman said the protest was peaceful and praised the students for standing up for a better education system. He also said the movement should not be hijacked politically and that the credit should belong to the students alone. He added that this generation’s commitment to education would make India proud and that parents had supported their children’s stand.

In his Instagram post, Salman said the paper leak was a serious issue and expressed sadness that the protest turned violent. He said his heart went out to the students and their families who were hurt. He also said education should become more valued and that the government should strengthen the system and respond positively to the students’ demands.
